A method of quantitative immunoelectrophoresis (Electrophoretic fractionation-immunodiffusion method) is described for the measurements of serum glycoproteins in α- and β-fractions. It consists of agar gel eletcrophoresis followed by immunodiffusion method. The quantitative measurements of α_1-antitrypsin, α_1B-glycoprotein, α_2HS-glycoprotein, haptoglobin, α_2-macroglobulin, β_1A-globulin and hemopexin are found satisfactory.
