Comparative studies were done on continuous and discontinuous evaporation of thin aluminium film on glass. It was thus ascertained that continuous evaporation is liable to produce bristers on the evaporated surface and thereby the producing process of these bristers was studied. Subsequently, it was concluded that to avoid such bristers the evaporated thickness before the bulk state is reached must be evaporated each time and the stopping time intervals should exceed that required for the evaporated aluminum atoms to complete the agglomeration. Some physical considerations for these results were studied.
