Comparison of Time Balance Test Scores Between Aged Men and Women

Eighty two so-called healthy and able female and male persons in thier 70's and 80's without servere disabilities were examined on standing balance activities with the eyes open or closed and with both legs or one leg. Although the influence of aging between decades 70's and 80's was not prominent in female and male, the sexual difference appeared distinct in decard 70. This might-support the finding the women had more tendency to fall than men, and it should be suggested that especially elderly women need more detailed inspection to prevent fall in clinical settings.
