Objective : To describe the excellent response of pathological jealousy (Othello Syndrome) in an elderly patient to treatment with tiapride and to compare the course with other neuroleptics treatments and other monodelusional disorders in elderly people. Method : A case of pathological jealousy (Othello Syndrome) in an elderly patient is described. Result : A 72-year-old woman's pathological jealousy is successfully treated with tiapride. Conclusion : Tiapride might be considered the medicine of choice for monodelusional disorder in elderly patients.
