Notes on Species of Gesneriaceae Common to Both the Ryukyus and Taiwan

Taxonomic histories and problems of six species of Gesneriaceae found in common to the both of Ryukyus and Taiwan are noted based on literature survey and recent field and herbarium researches from 1999 to 2002. The present study shows that it is difficult to distinguish plants of Conandron ramondioides in Taiwan and the Ryukyus from those in Japanese Honshu by leaf-morphologies observed.
