This paper is a report on the practice of an education method which is aimed at drawing out students' ability. The means to an end is to bring up a group of students in which they incite themselves each other to become ambitious and independent. The main points in the course are as follows; 1. Highly valuing one's initiative or activeness 2. Training one's ability to raise oneself 3. Cultivating or encouraging one's desire for any attempt to be better The projects carried out for the above are as follows; 1. Setting up the system of encouraging or cheering up one's voluntary activities 2. Setting up the system of valuing one's attempts from various viewpoints 3. Contriving a spur to bring about a cultural climate that inspires the individuals in the group to be better The following changes were shown through 9-year-practice of the above projects. As years went by; 1. The group as a whole made some progress in scholastic ability. That is a decrease in the percentage of middle achieving, an increase in the upper, and a slight decrease in the lower achieving students. 2. The students got more earnest in tackling any assignment. 3. A percentage of participants in school activities increased. 4. More students became to feel they lived a full and enjoyable school life though it was somewhat painful at the same time. As the result of the above changes, less problems that prevent the students from graduating, such as failing in getting the required units, occurred, and only a small percentage of drop-out could be maintained. The conclusion is that this would be one of the effective education methods to draw out students' potential ability and also to prevent students from getting in various difficulties for their graduation.
