The r. f. magnetic field distribution in a transversely-magnetized two-layer solid-plasmawaveguide has been experimentally studied at 77K and in the wavelength region of 4 mm by employing n-InSb as the plasma materil. The field distribution's dependence on the waveguide dimension and on the applied static magnetic field has been studied and compared with the prediction based on the theory in a previous paper. The experimental results are in good qualitative with the theoretical ones for one of the four possible propagation modes. The electric field distrion is discussed as well. With the aid of these results. The physical identifications of the propagation modes are also presentes for some particular cases.
