The density of states of two-dimensional tight binding electrons in the CuO_2 plane of the high-T_c compounds (La_<1-x>M_x)_2CuO_4 is calculated in the framework of the single-site coherent potential approximation (CPA), taking account of both effects of strong correlation and random distribution of hole sites introduced by dopant atoms measurements.
