The author carried out an experiment to examine the azimuth dependences of solar radiation on an inclined surface. An integrating function recorder enabled measurements of solar radiation to be taken under all atmospheric conditions. The amount of solar radiation was determined to be greater on a westward-facing surface than on an eastward-facing surface through the year.
