Electron Spin Resonance Study of Hydrogen Atoms Trapped in Ammonium Fluoroberyllate

The trapped hydrogen atoms produced in ammonium fluoroberyllate ((NH_4)_2BeF_4) single crystals prepared by γ-irradiation at 77K show a superhyperfine structure from fluorine nuclei in the crystal. Based on the analysis of this structure, three types of trapped hydrogen atoms are identified, which decay out in the vicinity of the ferroelectric phase transition point, 176K.
