Experimental studies are made of the harmonic generation in a microwave gas discharge at 34 GHz in pure gases and mixtured ones with air. The result shows that the rare gases do not give effective results compared with air and that these gases mixed with air give promising efficiencies for an application of this phenomenon to a power source.
