Determination of the Flow Curve by a Cone and Plate Viscometer

It is shown how to determine the flow curve f (τ) of an arbitrary time-independent non-Newtonian fluid in a cone and plate viscometer from the known relationship between the torque M and the angular velocity Ω. The general formula for the flow curve has been applied to a Newtonian fluid.
