Detailed design considerations of a multireflection long-path cell for the Stark spectroscopy by infrared lasers are given. This cell operates as a high-sensitivity linear-absorption spectrometer as well as a Lamb-dip spectrometer without changing its optical configuration. Two spherical mirror configurations for the multipath cell and their performance are discussed.
