A holographic deblurring filter can be made by a simple method. The functional form of amplitude transmission of the filter is approximated for convenience. It is assured by numericalcalculation that the approximation does not decrease the effect of the restoration. The approximated functional form can be realized by a simple photographic technique, regardless ofthe nonlinear characteristic of the photographic recording medium. In the experiment the filters for out of focus and linear motion blur are made, and the result is in good agreement with the calculated one.
