The ferrimagnetic resonance absorption and the generation of second harmonic have been measured simultaneously. Several absorption modes in addition to the Kittel mode have been observed and identified as the Walker's magnetostatic modes. The second harmonic power observed is proportional to the square of the incident power and can be interpreted in terms of the small signal theory. The occurrence of higher harmonic generation in relation to the magnetostatic modes can be qualitatively explained by the dynamical behaviour of rf magnetization.
