Motions of moored barge and semi-submersible in waves are simulated using quadratic response transfer function computed from pressure integral over the wetted surface of the body. Some of them are compared with experimental data, and confirmed to follow them, provided the added mass and the damping force in still water are modified in waves. Further simulations show that the natural frequency appears in the motion besides a frequency of envelope of waves in case of low damping system like a moored barge.
