This paper shows how small the mooring tension of the multi-body-type floating breakwater is, if we compare it with conventional types, of which transmission coefficients are same. Model experiments were carried out in irregular waves as well as regular waves, and transmitted waves and mooring tensions were compared with theoretical calculations.
