Sectional drag coefficients of mooring chains in combined flow of current and oscillation are discussed, concerning current effects on dynamic reaction forces of slack chain mooring. It is shown that at high velocity ratio of current to oscillation the drag coefficients do not depend on the velocity ratio, therefore they depend only on Reynolds number, and that at low velocity ratio they depend both on Kc number defined by eq. (13) and on Reynolds number.
