Analysis of UDP-Sugar Content in Cucumber Cotyledons in Relation to Growth Rate

UDP-sugar content in cucumber cotyledons grown with or without added zeatin was measured by a newly established method using high performance liqvid chromato-graphy and gas-liquid chromatography. With zeatin the growth rate was twice that of the control, and UDP-sugar content was 1.5-fold that of the control.
