A New Stichotrema from Thailand (Strepsiptera, Myrmecolacidae) : Notulae Strepsipterologicae VIII

Stichotrema yasumatsui sp. nov. (Strepsiptera : Myrmecolacidae) is described on the basis of adult females extracted from several stylopized Euscyrtus sp. (Orthoptera : Eneopteridae) collected in Thailand. This new species is different from S. dallatorreanum HOFENEDER from New Guinea or S. asahinai HIRASHIMA et KIFUNE from Japan by the absence of hook-like projections on cephalothorax and from S. vilhenai (LUNA DE CARVALHO) from Angola by the shape of opening of blood canal and of cephalothorax. Two types of the triungulins are distinguished by the presence or absence of cephalic invagination and by the slight difference of size.
