Five species of Hulictophagzts are recognized from Japan. Of these, H. (H.) bipunctatus Yang, 1955 and H. (H.) spectms Yang, 1964 are new to Japan. Halictophugus (Halictophagm) yaeyammm Kifune, new species, is described from the Iriomote Island, the Ryukyus.
