Intraspecific allomorphic transformation patterns of the hind wings in twenty-seven species belonging to the subfamily Lepturinae were analyzed. Three species of them, together with four species belonging to other subfamilies, which were treated for comparison, were statistically analyzed in detail ; i.e., six points were defined on the hind wing and lengths of eleven lines and the areas of five triangles constructed by combination of the six points were measured or calculated and statistically analyzed. Concerning the other twenty-four lepturine species, their intraspecific allomorphic transformation patterns were assumed by a modification of D'Arcy W. THOMPSON's "Cartesian transformation method." Major two types, one of which was further divided into two subtypes, were recognized for intraspecific allomorphic transformation patterns of the hind wings in this subfamily. The so-called "BURLA's rule" established by OKADA (1959, 1960) for drosophilid flies and some other winged insect groups was widely recognized in the subfamily Lepturinae. However, it was also considered that this rule covers only a phase of allomorphic transformation in insect wings.
