The wind observations have been carried out based on a Low Atmospheric Wind Profiler or Low Atmospheric Observation Radar (LAOR) in Bangkok Thailand. The radar receives the clear air echo using parabolic antenna and measures the Doppler shift of the echo with 3 directions beams. Wind vector measurement takes 5 minutes and those data are processed by a personal computer. Seasonal and diurnal wind variations at Bangkok are analyzed using the wind data observed by Wind Profiler since January 1994 until present. The westerly winds from May to September are owing to southwest monsoon and the easterly winds from October to April are related to the northeast monsoon.
