Real-Time System to Obtain Ray Space data

In this paper, we describe the system that obtain full Ray Space data of any objects in real-time. We have, proposed Ray Space method for describing 3-dimensional information. Our studies have forcused on ,3-dimensional Ray Space which are reconstructed from linages which are obtained by moving one camera linearly. But Ray Space is 4-dimension. In addition, because, we obtain Ray Space data by using one camera which are moved linearly, we can not obtain Ray Space data of moving objects. We constructed the system which use many cameras and computers to obtain Ray Space data of moving objects in real-time. These computers are clusterdfor parallel processing. We experimented on obtaining Ray Space data and generating a virtual image at an arbitrary viewpoint from Ray Space data. It was found from the result that the system is useful in order to obtain Ray Space data.
