Recently when the chemical mediators of a cold urticaria were investigated, it was supposed that kinins might be produced by the kinin forming enzymes of blood vessels and of mast cells. In this paper, the kinin forming enzymes of blood vessels were examined by using hemangioma of the skin. 1. The hemangioma was a cavernous hemangioma and largely consisted of endotherial cells and pericytes of the blood vessels. 2. The fibrinolytic activity of the hemangioma was larger than the same dose of normal skin with standerd fibrin plate and with heated fibrin plate. This fibrinolytic activity was not inhibited by addtion of trans-AMCHA. 3. Immediately after incubation of human serum and the hemangioma, the kinins were produced. This kinin activity vanished after incubation of 15 minutes. The kinin forming enzymes were in the blood vessels of the skin.
