In Yokota's diffusion theory on mixed conduction, he has considered the caseof small current densitv and obtained a solution in the linear arrroximation. Inthe present paper we consider larger current densities and look for an improvedapproximation over the linear one. The obtained approximate solution for largerapplied voltages shows a better agreement with the numerical solution of thenon-linear diffusion equation than the linear approximation. The comparisonbetween the experiment and the calculation is done for /jCu.S and a'Ag.Te.
