子宮内胎児発育障害(SFD,IUGR)の胎児期から新生児期にかけての変化を,代謝に重要な役割をはたす肝臓の成熟過程を中心に観察した.SFD作製法は妊娠末期ラットに子宮胎盤血流障害法(Msp法)により発症したSFD肝につき検討した.1)Msp-SFDは妊娠20日目に胎仔体重は,対照群より23%減少を示し,その後の新生仔期にも持続した.2)胎生期の肝はMspによる影響をうけやすく,Msp負荷後の肝重量は妊娠20日目に30%低値で,肝の比体重も対照群より低く生後3週間で対照群に追いついた.3)胎仔肝DNA合成rateに対するMspの影響は,生後に認められ,対照群は生後2日目にピークを示し,SFD肝は5日目であった.4)Msp肝を機能面からみるためミトコンドリア分画のcytochrome a,cを測定したが、SFD群肝は対照群レベルに達するのに生後7〜10日間を要した.
