The microwave spectrum of cis-1,2-dichloroethylene was observed in the frequency range between 20 and 25kMc/sec. The determined molecular parameters, d_<CC1> = 1.724A and ∠CCCl = 121°33' on the assumption of d_<CC> = 1.32A, d_<CH> = 1.07A and ∠CCH = 120°, show good agreements with the parameters of vinylidene chloride, which was studied previously in this laboratory. The quadrupole hyperfine coupling constants were found to be eQq_<aa> = 2Mc/sec, eQq_<bb> = -22Mc/sec and eQq_<cc> = 20Mc/sec.
