Spectrally-Resolved Four-Wave Mixing Spectroscopy in the Exciton and Biexciton Resonant Region in PbI_2

Dephasing of' nonlinear optical polariz;ttion in Pblz is investigated in the exciton resonantregion Icy spectrally-resolved four-w?tve raaixing (FW[N4) spectroscopy xvith strbpicosecond tinaeresolution. It is fotrnd that FWIVI spectr?t show the strtrcttrres dtre to both exciton and biexcitonnonlinearities and depend significantly on the polarization and the energy of excitation ptrlse.The experimental results are qtralitatively explained by the fotrr-level model which takes intoaccotrnt a biexciton level as well as an exciton one. It is strggested that the dispersion efl'ect ofexciton polaritons plays a role in the tiraae response of FWIvI signal.
