Superconducting Energy Gap in BaPb_<1-x>Bi_xO_3 Determined from Point-Contact Tunneling

Electron tunneling measurements have been performed on single crystals ofBaPb. .Bi.0, with various values of x. The observed density of states in the supercon-ducting state can well be described by the broadened BCS density of states proposedby Dynes et at. The ratio 2A / k7'. increases with irrcreasing the Bi concentration of x,suggesting the increase of electron-phonon interactions, arnd saturates at aroundx - 0.2. The values of 2A /kT. in the saturated region coincide with the BCS value.
