Kolmogoroff's Spectrum and a Scaling Law in Stationary Homogeneous Turbulence

Kolmogoroff's spectrum in homogeneous turbulence is studied by means of arenornaalization-group approach. The present analysis is based on Hopf's equa-tion for the characteristic functional. It consists of two steps: renormalizatjon ofsmall eddies into big ones and rescaling of physical quantities. As the result,Kolmogoroff's spectrum is shown to be a scaling law in the inertial subrange.
