Sound Attenuation in Two-Dimensional Magnetic Systems

The sound attenuation constant is calculated for the two-dimensional ferro- and antiferro-magnets. Its frequency and angular dependence turn out to be ω_κ^2ln(1/ω_κ) and cos^4 θ, respectively. The effect of the uniaxial anisotropy is also taken into account in a self-consistent way.
