The temperature dependence of EPR frequencies is studied thcoretically for pure andpseudo-one dimensional Heisenberg magnets by means of Mori's theory of generalizedBrownian motions. In a system with uniaxial symmetry, simple expressions forresonance frequencies are o btained. It is seen that the resonance frequencies are shiftedfrom the Zeeman frequency when the magnetic susceptibility is anisotropic. Fisher'sclassical spin model is used to calculate the spin correlation functions. The anisotropyof the magnetic susceptibility is found to be enhanced by an effect of the short rangeorder. The pseudo-one dimensional systems are treated with the help of the mean fieldapproximation to interchain interactions. The result is reducecl to that of a pure-onedimensional system, when the interchain interactions are absent. The effects ofinterchain interactions are negligible for antiferronaagnets even near the N<Set point, whereas those for ferromagnets are divergent near the Cu?'ie point. Nagata andTazuke's expressions for a g-shift can be obtained from the present theory in anapproximation,
