By using polarized resonance Raman effect for all-trans P~arotene dissolved in 5CB as an orientational probe. the temperature dependence of the second and fourth order parameters have been accurately determined. The results have bcen compared with those of previous work on neat 5CB. The critical behavior of order parameters has been investigated.
