The causes of the anomalies in the low order reflection of the cathode rays from the surface of a single crystal have been considered. It is shown that the anomalies cannot be attributed to the effect of the azimuth nor the poorness of the approximation of the calculation, but can be explained, for the greater part, by a simple geometrical consideration.
