The NMR line shape, relaxation time and the static susceptibility of metallic Cu fine particles (∼50Å) are measured at liquid He temperatures. The line shape shows an enhanced spin paramagnetism which can explained as anomalies due to finite spacing of the electron energy levels with strong 1-s coupling. The spin-lattice relaxation time is shorter than bulk value, contrary to expectations.
