The Rayleigh-Benard convection flow of hard-disk fluid confined to a square box was examined by the molecular dynamics method. By successive measurements of flow field, we found that flip motions of the convective roll appeared in systems with intermediate temperature gradient. Two parameters are introduced to characterize the state in this transitional phase.
