The model which has been proposed to explain the phenomena in the central region is applied to the medium x region (|x|<0.6). Our model successfully fits the data on K^+ +p→K^0+"X" and K^-+p→K^^-^0+"X" in |x|<0.6, explains the early scaling in |x|>0.2 and can account for the approach to the scaling limit from below at x=0. Except for the region |x|>0.7, where two-body or quasi-two-body processes may play an important role, and except for the processes where leading particle effects seem important, our model successfully fits the data.
