It is shown that contrary to Aratyn and Damgaad's claim, the supersymmetric sine-Gordon model can be transformed into a purely fermionic form preserving the original supersymmetry algebra. It is also shown that the fermionic model cannot be identified as the O(3) Gross-Neveu model.
