Effect of the Magnon and Stoner Excitations on the Renormalization of the Stoner Gap in the Parabolic Band Model

The renormalization of the Stoner gap due to the magnon and Stoner excitations is studied. It is pointed out that in the parabolic band model, the contribution from the Stoner excitations becomes significant even for a comparatively large Stoner gap.
