The shielding effect of the Meissner current is considered in the superconductor of the Pippard type. It is shown that owing to this effect, the spinwave modes of long wavelength due to the magnetic dipole interactions vanish for λ_L+const ×ξ_c⪝R. Here λ_Lξ_c and R are respectively the penetration depth, the coherent length and the size of the specimen.
