We have carried out a phenomenological analysis of pion-deuteron elastic scattering using the model of Kanai et al. in which the dibaryon resonance amplitude is added to the backgound amplitude obtained by a Glauber-model calculation. The analysis uses new and much more accurate experimental data for large angle cross sections together with data for the vector analyzing power and the tensor polarization, which were not included in the original work of Kanai et al. The values of resonance parameters are entirely revised, but the change in the resonance masses is found to be rather small.
