Quark-Lepton Masses and Generation Mixing in Preon Models

Coupled mass equations are obtained in a multi-generational scheme of preon models for dynamical breaking of the electroweak symmetry. The quark-lepton (q/l) masses and their mixing angles are in principle determinable in terms of the preon confinement scale and q/l couplings to heavy preon composites. A phenomenological analysis of the q/l mass spectrum is made by adding a required fourth generation to the known three. It is shown that there is a unified preon model of four generations with a structure consistent with our interpretation of the mass spectrum.
