Functional integral method for the renormalization of the dual resonance model is proposed. The Green's function of the dual resonance model is represented in the functional integral form. It is also shown that the free propagator, one loop function, two-loop one and so on which have been obtained in the dual resonance model can be derived from the expansion of the Green's function in power series of the coupling constant. Renormalization problems for some characteristic diagrams are discussed.
