η⇾2γDecay and Models of Elementary Particles

On the basis of composite models, η⇾2γ decay is re-analyzed in the light of new data Γ^<exp>_<η⇾2γ>=(0.324±0.046)keV by using the method of Furlan, Legovini and Paver applied to π^0⇾2γ decay. It is shown that the fractionally charged three-quartet model is the best over other subhadronic models when combined with a ps-meson scheme proposed by Maki, Maskawa and Umemura.
