It is said that Japan is a child-centered country. Historically and internationally, the Japanese are especially eager about their children's education. However, juvenile delinquency out of the middle-class family is increasing in number. It seems that the educatioanl degeneration is rather due to the eagerness. In this thesis, we tried to reexamine the standards of education which supports our endeavor against the reality that the eagerer we are, the more education degenerates. First in the process of examining the present situation of educational eagerness we found that we as individuals have no stable standards. So our educational standards, which ought to be different, are led by the standards of school education and have become similar. The standards of school education have been led by the business world, but today's educational degeneration has worried them. In addition to that, the prolongation of one's life span and the decrease of birthrate have changed our family relationship and educational standards. These various things have caused the educational degeneration, to which our efforts have a limit. Within this limit, we have suggested what we can and must do. The suggestion is that we should put a kind of cushion between adults and children. By doing it, we at least soften the stress of the children who are cornered by the eagerness of adults, and we can feel for the next direction.
