Physioiogical functions of phosphoiipid include the nulntionai and the non--nutritional aspects. The nutritional functions cover supply of nutrients to the biological beings, constitution of biomembrane or bioparticle in the biological tissues, transmission of impulsion in the cells and so forth. The non-nutritional functions mainly signify revelation of toxicity through abnormal peroxidation of phosphoiipid in the biological body. Thus, phosphoiipid should be taken qualitatively as well as quantitatively under the adequate balance in the human dietary life.
