The slip arises in the acceleration of an automobile. As a result, the travel performance remarkably causes the adverse effect, since the grip force of the tire on the road surface is lost. In this paper, we report a drive control system for automobile by the quadratic stabilization for the system, which considered the friction coefficient between the road surface and the tire to be the uncertainty in the controlled object. Generally, car-body speed is necessary for the drive control of an automobile, but it is impossible to detect the car-body speed in the automobile system. So we perform the simulation using the speed estimated by disturbance observer, in which the road surface friction coefficient μ was considered as the torque disturbance. And it was confirmed that the effect was good.
