A fine pressure control system utilizing a commercially available simple and inexpensive light intensity control circuit kit for a liquid deuterium target is described. The difference between the liquid deuterium vapor pressure and the atmospheric pressure can be controlled to much better than 0.001 kg/cm2 or equivalently the liquid deuterium density can be kept constant at $0.1626\pm 0.0003$ g/cm3.
