A 28-year-old Filipina with complete atrio-ventricular block took a pacemaker implantation at Philippine in August, 1995. Her pacemaker was once exchanged due to loss of battery in July, 2002. In October, 2009, Filipino physician in charge pointed out less than 6 months of the lifetime of her pacemaker battery. In February, 2010, she consulted to our hospital. We checked the pacemaker, which model was Medtronic Sigma SS103. This pacemaker model was not approval in Japan, and there were some difficulties to understand the condition of pacemaker. We should know several pacemaker models in the world, which were not approval in Japan.
